This quilt belongs to and was beautifully hand
appliquéd by Dawn Vandentoorn of Michigan. The
block patterns are from Jeana Kimball's "Red and
Green-An Appliqué Tradition". The sashing and border
designs were inspired by antique quilts. Dawn hired me
to machine quilt her top in 2004. All of the designs are
original and the quilting was done free-hand on my
machine.

Best of Show and 1st place in it's category at West
Michigan Quilters Guild's "Quilts on the Grand 2004"
2nd place in the Traditional Custom category at MQS
2005
1st place in the Appliqué-professional category at The
Indiana Heritage Quilt Show in 2006
