One of the fragments of William Gibson's forthcoming novel Zero History which he published on his blog, inspired this comment on the William Gibson Discussion Board, which pointed out the similarities between the description of the decoration of Hollis's room at Inchmale's club, with a "Cabinet of Curiosities" or Wunderkammer, the eclectic collections of scientific and magical curiosities which eventually became modern museums.
