This Saturday 10th June is set to see a large scale
Protest March and Rally against the Heathrow Airport expansion and night flights, supported by:

Will Mayor of London Ken Livingstone, who is on record as opposing the plans for a 3rd runway, turn up to milk the press and media coverage ?

"The day starts from about 9am when processions of vans and floats start off at various town halls and converge on Harlington at 11.30am.[...]

11.15. Friends of the Earth and other vans arrive at Harlington
11.30. Procession leaves Harlington (Nobel Drive, near corner of Bath Rd and Harlington High Street, (behind the Heathrow Bowl)

From Harlington Corner near the airport, the procession will pass the Heathrow Point West offices of Heathrow Airport owners British Airports Authority (who are now in the process of being taken over by a Spanish company Ferrovial)

The procession will be joined by people from the Second Starting Point at the Community Centre, Sipson Recreation Ground.

1.30pm. Rally ends.Hlowever, football is not forgotten and at 2.00pm England's World Cup match starts on the big screen. There will also be entertainments such as bouncy castles and jugglers; there are two pubs and teas/coffees."
