Here is a flavour of some of the sort of things we chatted about this month.. This is not a substitute for coming along to the meetings in person:
- Ineptness and overreaction:- the recent failed car bomb attacks, in the Haymarket just around the corner from the London 2600 meeting venue in the Trocadero, and at Glasgow airport.
- So called "Identity Theft" hassles with the O2 mobile phone network and HSBC bank
- Apple's latest overpriced gizmo - the IPhone
- CCTV surveillance, sousveillance and equiveillance
- "All Your Encryption Keys Are Belong To Us" - RIPA Part III to come into force on 1st October 2007
- Spook Country - blog - "otaku-worthy immersion" about the forthcoming novel by cyberpunk fiction author William Gibson's new book Spook Country officially published in the UK on 2nd August 2007.
