London 2600 meeting on Friday 6th October 2006
Here is a flavour of a few of the things we discussed or overheard. This is not a substitute for the real face to face meetings:- Apologies to anyone who was looking for us at the Trocadero between 7pm and 7.30pm - we decided to move on earlier than usual. The basement is turning into some sort of souk with market stalls filling up what used to be the public walkway,

- Next week in the House of Lords - Police and Justice Bill - amendment to the controversial new dual use "hacker tools" addition to the Computer Misuse Act 1990 - is this sufficient to prevent innocent IT systems and network administrators and security researchers and programmers from being criminalised for doing their work professionally ?
- Gary McKinnon is still awaiting the verdict of the High Court on his Extradition to the USA.

Last carriage on a Circle Line train on the London Underground
- it takes about an hour for the complete journey back to the start location.
Bring food, drink, computer networking equipment, walkie talkie radios, disguises etc.
Act "normal" at stations - have phun in between.
