"As usual, 23C3 will take place at Berliner Congress Center in the time from December 27th to December 30th 2006. Expect most organizational issues to be handled similar to last year except for those areas that sucked :)"
See the 23C3 conference wiki for more details.
Due to demand by regular attendees, there will be another "unofficial" mid-month meeting two weeks after the official meeting.
The location is the Pub which most of us went to at the last official meeting, the N*** O* O** D**** between Covent Garden and the Aldwych, starting at around 7pm.
Email us for directions if you have forgotten the way there.
Here is a flavour of a few of the things we discussed or overheard. This is not a substitute for the real face to face meetings:
Last carriage on a Circle Line train on the London Underground - it takes about an hour for the complete journey back to the start location.
Bring food, drink, computer networking equipment, walkie talkie radios, disguises, 24 hour legal representation etc.
Act "normal" at stations - have phun in between.
Start location - not yet public
Start time - not yet public
Direction of travel - not yet public - obviously either clockwise or anticlockwise
email: TubeParty@nym.hush.com with suggestions and for the details so far agreed.
See what similar Circle Line parties organised by the Space Hijackers have been like.

"ScheduleIt has always been our contention that security conventions are for socialising and with that in mind our programme is firmly based around meeting new people and having interesting conversations.
It will of course also be an excuse for a massive piss up and party.
All our venues have now been booked and Continuity will take place on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of December 2006.
We’ll be having a buffet at 7:00pm on Friday night in a city centre pub to celebrate 11 years of Manchester 2600 Meetings and to welcome Continuity guests to Manchester.
While Continuity is firmly based around socialising John Wignall is running his DNSCon 9 conference in Manchester during the day for those of you who want to see some talks at your convention. There is a £5 registration fee for DNSCon 9.
On Saturday evening we have the main Continuity event in a large city centre venue where we will be holding a free party from 7:00pm until 2:00am with a fully licensed bar. Due to licensing restrictions this event is only available to those over 18 years old.
Lastly for any stragglers on Sunday we will be meeting for final drinks and brunch before everyone makes their way home."

Email us or speak up at the meetings if you want to participate in these joint projects:
We have been offered the use of some space and facilities by a friendly technology company, based in Putney, in South West London.
Email us if you feel that you can
contribute to some collaborative hardware / software / other projects. Could this be the start of a London version of L0pht ?
We are naturally curious about various high tech transport , telecommunications and surveillance infrastructures
which are appearing on the streets of London.
We are probably as qualified as anyone to discuss the implications for our society of this street tech.
Do the promised benefits outweigh the potential threats ? Can these infrastructures be explored or played with ?
Email us your contributions and/or discuss them at the next meeting
In December 2002, a gang of "steamers" i.e. street and public transport muggers and robbers, was caught by the British Transport police. They were an ethnically mixed bunch of people of various ages, from different parts of London who would meet up in the Trocadero Shopping centre before heading off on their crime sprees. The last of the "Trocadero gang" was sentenced recently, and with a resounding thud, the authorities have now designated the Trocadero Shopping Centre as one of 15 or so designated Dispersal Zones under the Anti-social Behaviour Act 2003 - Part 4, Dispersal of Groups etc.
