Tractor Serial Numbers - On the aluminum identification plate, located on the right side of the steering gear housing. (Right side of tractor). Once you know the serial number, you can use the table above to determine the year. Engine Serial Numbers - The engine serial number is stamped into the cylinder block above the oil filler tube. (Left side of tractor) This number should be used when ordering parts related to the engine. Casting Dates - These dates are used to determine or confirm model year and are found in several places on your tractor. They will appear like this 12 * 7 * S. (Month * Day * Year) The letter, when found on the table will give you the year of casting. These dates will also let you know if a part has been changed out or replaced. Casting dates can be found on the cylinder block, steering gear housing, clutch housing, transmission housing, etc. |
PARTS NUMBERS Q. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN R1 AND R2 ON THE PART NUMBER? A. IN CASES WHERE THE PART NUMBER SUFFIX LETTERS HAVE BEEN ADVANCED, THE NEW PART WILL REPLACE THE OLD UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED. FOR EXAMPLE, PART NUMBERS WITH SUFFIX LETTERS DB, WILL WORK FOR D, OR DA. WHEN "R" SUFFIX IS USED R2 WILL WORK FOR R1. R12 WILL WORK FOR R11, R21 WILL WORK FOR R11 AND R92 WILL WORK FOR R91. |
LEFT & RIGHT PARTS ARE ALWAYS DETERMINED AS IF YOU WERE SITTING ON THE THE LEFT AND RIGHT TRACTOR FACING FORWARD, TOWARD THE LEFT AND RIGHT THE RADIATOR. EXAMPLE: THOSE PARTS FOUND LISTED AS LH WOULD GO ON THE SIDE OF THE TRACTOR THAT CORRESPONDS TO YOUR LEFT WHILE FACING THE FRONT, WHILE SEATED ON, OR STANDING AT THE REAR OF THE TRACTOR. |
