Duncan Campbell - Donations in memoriam

Board member Duncan Campbell (pictured above) died February 23 at the age of 81.

Duncan was a big part of Scottish heritage in Canada in the 50 years since he came here from Scotland. He was a founder of the Clan Campbell Association of Canada, an enthusiastic Scottish Country dancer, and a regular attendee at the annual St Andrews Society Ball.Duncan joined the Board of the Scottish Studies Foundation in 2000 and has been on the board ever since. He was a keen supporter of the work of the SSF in endowing a chair in Scottish Studies at the University of Guelph, and was very taken by the idea of young Canadians being able to learn about their ancestral country of Scotland in a Canadian university. You can help these students and remember Duncan at the same time.

As a remembrance of Duncan Campbell, we invite you to make a donation to the Scottish Studies Foundation to be used to provide scholarships to students to travel from Canada to Scotland to further their research, or to assist lecturers from Scotland in travelling to Canada.
