RECENT WINNERS

WO 6/24/12 Top three selections hit the $551 trifecta (4-14-10) in the $1 million dollar Queen's Plate at Woodbine, and top picks also hit the late pick4 (11-4-2-4) for $5000.
IND 6/19/12 Swept all 9 thoroughbred races at Indiana Downs with first or second pick.
PIM 5/19/12 Hit the superfecta in the Preakness almost cold with top 4 picks. The 9-7-6-4 combinaton got us $424 for a dollar. If I'll Have Another gets another in the Belmont, he will be the 12th horse in history to win the Triple crown, and the first in 34 years (Affirmed 1978). One more please!
IND 5/7/12 $30,000 top 4 super (2-3-7-1) in race 6 at Indiana Downs. Nice!
CD 5/5/12 Profitable Derby Day as we hit the pick3 ending in the derby with the 6 (Groupie Doll), the 1 (Little Mike), and the derby winner 19 (I'll Have Another). Pick3 paid $3297. Also caught the 19-6 exacta cold, paying $306. Top two picks ran well avoiding traffic, Union Rags took the worst of it, Dullahan proved to be the best closer (+4 in CLOSE column). Third choice Creative Cause just got passed at the wire, beating us out of a nice trifecta. Can't complain, we made money today.
EVD 4/18/12 Red hot at Evangeline's opening night, $63 winner Amy My Amy in the 7th, very reachable pick4 paid $5000, and $18,000 super in the last.
TP 12/15/11 Swept the card at Turfway Park, rolling all the pick3's. No real track bias there - you can wire the field or go from last to first. That track seems to be tiring on the front-runners in sprints, and tiring on the chasers in routes. I know one thing, you can make money there. Race 4, 10-8-2-4, hit exacta, tri, super - $286 / $2620 / $15,412. Top pick Leather Laces paid $43.80 to win. Both BOLD print selections were live.
KEE 10/14/11
BEL 10/13/11
As hot as the Belmont sheet was on Thursday, the Keeneland sheet on Friday was hotter. Had the late pick4 and pick5 dead to rights with small ticket featuring $19.60 top choice winner Stormy Going in the 8th, and $27.80 third choice pick Wild About Marie in the 9th. Keeneland pick4 and pick5 paid $4K and $8K.
HOL 6/18/11 Crushed 'em at Hollywood Park, from the first race to the last. Every BOLD print pick won or got part, including $25.80 winner Sugarinthemorning in the 7th. Trifectas all day, the late pick4, and the last race super and hi-five COLD (1-10-6-3-7).
CD 5/7/11 This year's Derby superfecta was well within reach, with our top picks coupled with some revised pace capping strategy. Four of our top 6 picks ran well, and the late scratch of Uncle Mo left an obvious omission of front-runners. Replacing Uncle Mo with an early speed contender, we had to choose from Comma to the Top, Decisive Moment, and the eventual pace-setter and 4th place finisher, Shackleford. The 16-19-13-14 super paid $48,000.
FG 3/14/11 Multi-profile pick at Fair Grounds in 607 - Euro K Now paid $12.00 to win. Pace and pedigree angle here warranted the top choice and BOLD print, which has pointed to numerous winners since we introduced this feature.
TP 2/13/11 Obvious multiple profile selection in Turfway Park's 8th race Sunday in the 4 horse, Tater Taunter. We keyed this one every which way, after finding lone speed, speed-class, and best pedigree. This filly benefited from a soft pace and paid $10.80 to win.
SA 2/5/11 Top choice Easy On The Eye won the opener at Santa Anita at 36-1. We caught the double for $386, the first pick3 for $535, and the first pick4 (6-4-2-7), paying $1652 for 50 cents.
FG 12/26/10 Santa was one day late with this $18,385 pick3 at the Fair Grounds. The 6-6-6 combination ending in the 4th race made our Christmas weekend. Just missed hitting the entire pick4 pool when the 8 ran second to the 10 in the fifth. That would have been one for the books, but our pain was definitely eased a bit with the pick3 score.
TP 12/9/10 $77.20 top choice winner Come Slew Me in Turfway's fourth.
CD 11/13/10 $9883 late pick4 (1-5-11-3) at Churchill Downs was highlighted by $53 winner Stage Magic in the 8th. Top 3 trifecta in that race paid $892.
CD 11/6/10 Six million dollar pick six on this Breeders' Cup Saturday was hittable with a reasonably small ticket, using our sheet today. Starting in the 6th, winners were: Chamberlain Bridge (second choice), Uncle Mo (top choice), Goldikova (second choice), Dakota Phone (third choice), Dangerous Midge (second choice), and Blame (second choice). The 1-7-10-1-8-5 combination was rewarded with $800,160.40. Somebody on RHR got rich today.
CD 11/4/10 Picked up the $985 late pick4 at Churchill Downs Thursday. Top choice won the 9th, 10th, and 11th races - second choice won the last. For good measure, we also hit the last exacta cold. The 6-12 combo returned $145.
KEE 10/27/10 $38,895 pick6 at Keeneland was dead to rights on the sheet today. Winners in races 4 thru 9 were 6-5-4-6-10-2. Price was inflated when the 5 horse, Fredrik the Great, paid $32.20 to win. Our third choice in the 5th race, the first time starter 5 was classic top pedigree play, with a 43 sire rank, and a must-use system play.
RP 9/22/10 First time starter in Remington's 7th race Wednesday was an obvious pedigree play on the 10 horse, Gold N Glamore. Composite sire rankings for Artie Schiller by El Prado and a Diesis mare, was a standout 60 in this MSW turf race for 2 year old fillies. Gold N Glamore was overlooked and paid $35.80 to win, the tri and 10-1-4-3 super paid $814 and $2450.
MNR 9/20/10 Mountaineer's race 3 on Monday showed a classic lone closer / lone pedigree selection in the 9 horse, Missile Impossible. I ignored her 5th place selection on the sheet, and used this filly, figuring she would definitely hit the board with her lone, late-running style. Missile Impossible came from last to first and paid $14.60 to win.
ELP 9/4/10 Pick4 ending in the Ellis Park 6th race paid a hefty $9,472.75 for fifty cents. The 11-4-7-1 combination was found with our 2nd choice, 2nd choice, third choice, and 2nd choice.
DMR 9/1/10 5 of 8 top choice winners at Del Mar, including $102.60 winner Magicrooy in the 3rd. Three and four thousand dollar consolations in the pick6 and place all were very hittable using our Del Mar sheet today.
ELP 8/22/10 Top 4 super box (5-2-3-1) in the 6th at Ellis Park paid $58,073.
PEN 8/21/10 Looking exclusively for the pace and pedigree angle, finding live ones lately at Arlington, Ellis, and others. Penn National's 8th race Saturday night had a lone closer and best pedigree selection in the 6 horse, Code Legal. She closed alright, from last to first, and paid $38.20 to win. We had a top two exacta and top 3 trifecta (6-1-7) for $342 and $1577. The whole pick4 pool was ours if we played it. Our top numbers minus scratches had the winning combination with a reasonably small ticket (5-4-6-9).
EVD 5/13/10 We made a fortune tonight at Evangeliine Downs, sweeping every pick3 and pick4 from the second race to the last. Top choice in the 7th, High Kicking Dream, paid $71.20 to win, triggering pick3's and the late pick4 which totalled over $17,000. Winners in races 2 thru 10 were 6-13-6-10-1-11-1a-1-6.
CD 4/28/10 $6011 pick4 payoff at Churchill Downs (4-4-4-3) was hit with our 2nd choice in the 7th, top choice in the 8th, 4th choice in the 9th, and 2nd choice after scratches in the 10th. Opened the card with a $41.20 winner in the first, Inca Beauty. We're warmin' up for the big one.
GP 4/10/10
OP 4/10/10
Numerous winners Saturday at Gulfstream and Oaklawn.
KEE 4/2/10 Caught the late pick4 on opening day at Keeneland. The 10-4-2-9 combination was hit with a reasonably small ticket and paid $437 for 50 cents.
FG 3/22/10 Singled 4th choice Hanna's Agenda, the 11 in Fair Grounds' finale Monday, trying to catch the late pick4. I reached for this one because of his pedigree profile (70), class (19), perfect route running line, and hot jock John Jacinto. His early speed looked to be good enough to out-run slower favorites in the race, and put him just behind the quittin' speed. The race shaped up just like the sheet suggested, and Hanna's Agenda paid $19.20 to win. Missed the $1982 pick4 when Silent Pipe won the 8th.
TAM 3/20/10 Standout turf play of the day had to be Luckman, the 8 in Tampa's race 6. His sire rank (2) is the best I've seen since we added that stat. Although our 3rd choice, his pedigree jumped off the sheet, making it easy to pass on the top 2. Luckman drew off in the stretch and paid $11.60 to win. Haven't posted winners since 1/29, but there have been many like this one since then.
SA 1/29/10 Santa Anita's 7th race Friday gave us another pedigree play on turf. The 8 horse, Andina, was bred top and bottom for grass, as evident by her 20 sire ranking. This 'lawn mower' appeared to be in tough against Smart Seattle, who ran against much better than these. I easily passed on the big class drop horse, and used second choice Andina, our pedigree profile, and got 3-1 on the winner.
TAM 1/20/10 Wednesday's 8th at Tampa produced yet another pedigree profile winner on turf. The 6 horse, Blushing Bear, was the latest to fit this red-hot 'blue print' for picking spot plays. I was happy to get $6.40 to win, and finished the pick3 (10-1-6) for $586. This profile has been hitting lately at an amazing rate, especially when it is our top selection, resulting in a lucrative ROI. I don't make many plays, but I can't resist when I find spots like this one. Blushing Bear also showed above average class (28), a perfect router's running line, and was lightly raced with only 6 starts among this N1X allowance group.
TAM 1/13/10 Another pedigree profile in Tampa's 6th race Wednesday. Krista's Quick Chic was our top pick and showed a 20 sire ranking, the best by far, and the only one under 100. She paid $11.20 to win, and they finished 5-6-2-10.
SA 1/8/10 Birdie Birdie in the 4th at Santa Anita was just one of Friday's pedigree profiles that we made money on. She had the lone sire rank under 100 (69) and top class (57). She paid $12.20 to win, and the 6-5-7-8 gimmicks were all ours. This profile is easy to spot, and has won us a lot of money lately.
FG 1/1/10 Rock 'til Dawn, the 8 in Fair Grounds' 3rd race looked like something to eat against this field of young La bred fillies. She showed the best early speed, good enough class, a stand-out sire rank, and a 10 lb weight advantage with bug-boy Jared Melancon, whose tentative ride almost lost the race. Rock 'til Dawn paid $18.40 to win, and we hit all the gimmicks: 8-7-6-3. This filly was by an A.P. Indy sire, and out of a Hennessy mare, thus the 20 sire rank, and bred to run all day.
AQU 11/26/09 Six of nine top choice winners at Aqueduct on turkey day, including consecutive winners Ouchy Night (5th) paying $17.40, Been A Pleasure (6th) paying $10.40, Compliance Officer (7th) paying $16.40, and Cherokee Country (8th) paying $26.20. Pick3's ending in the 7th and 8th paid $1081 and $1111.
HOL 11/20/09 Major disappointment in the guaranteed pick4 at Hollywood Park late Friday night. In my analysis, the single to use was 804 Turbulence, a first time starter in the last race. His pedigree (13) and sharp works (giving him a 45.9 half mile) pointed to him as our anchor on the ticket. I used 5 X 5 X 3 X 1 for a $75 ticket. Our 5th choice started the pick4 paying $97.40, and I was live to the last when Turbulence got left at the gate, came running up the rail, and appeared to get up the the final stride. He was actually called a 'comfortable winner' by TVG analysts, but lost the photo in a head-bob. The 6-5-3-1 pick4 paid $7714 for a dollar. I think Turbulence was meant to win, but lady luck wasn't with us tonight.
GG 11/19/09 Multiple profiles on 201-Dixieland Classic at Golden Gate Fields. This claiming filly showed top class (23), lone closer (+3), and top pedigree (71). She circled the field like her running line suggested, paying $7.40 to win. Top sire-rank (especially LONE SUB-100 SIRE RANK) has pointed to many winners lately.
DED 11/19/09 Top choice won Delta's first two races Thursday night. Navastorm and Justaclown returned $80.20 and $13.60 to win, and the two dollar 7-2 daily double paid $540.
DED 11/18/09 Classic lone zero pace line stuck out in Delta's 7th race Wednesday. The 3 horse, Gold Bay, was top class (19), inside post going two turns, and got the perfect stalking trip like her running line suggested. Gold Bay paid $8.40 to win.
HAW 11/1/09 $7076 pick4 in Hawthorne's races 6 through 9 Sunday. The 1-7-9-6 combination was our 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, and 1st choice.
BEL 10/15/09 Swept Belmont's card Thursday, including the $11,910 early pick4 (7-7-4-3) ending in race 5.
TP 10/8/09 Closed out the meet at Turfway Park with a classic lone-speed selection in the last race - the 5 horse, Cold Feet. He made an easy lead as expected, was never challenged, and paid $9.00 to win. We caught the tri and 5-7-3-9 super for $206 and $983.
HOO 9/30/09 Lone closer in Hoosier's 3rd race, Secret Tryst (8) showed the only closing move here. This Storm Cat filly was also best in the pedigree category, with a 142. She ran second and paid $21.20 to place, but we missed the gimmicks, overlooking the first time starter 6 horse.
AP 9/27/09
TP 9/27/09
Two obvious pedigree angles today at Arlington and Turfway. Top choice, Krista's Quick Chic, the 4 horse in Arlington's 10th, paid $29.40 to win, and General Purpose, the 12 horse in Turfway's 9th race at 15-1, paid $9.20 to place, and triggered the $2206 super, when they ran 1-12-11-6.
PID 9/16/09 Spot play in the last at Presque Isle Downs, as we used second choice My Marigold. Her pedigree (23), class (20), and post (1) in this two-turn mile, made it easy to pass on the favorite 11. My Marigold paid $20.20 to win.
AP 8/14/09 $22,000 superfecta (1-10-4-2) hit in race 5 at Arlington Park, with our top 4 selections.
AP 8/12/09 One of the few races that interested me today was Arlington's 8th race. Peyote Patty, the 8 horse, appeared to be lone speed in the race, and was my KEY in the last pick3. The jock was in no hurry, though, and opted to lay off the early pace. This tactic proved a winning one, as Peyote Patty came running and paid $7.00 to win. Cashed the pick3 for $257, but ran 2nd and 3rd in the last with the two largest pick3 will-pays.
EVD 6/18/09 $11,687 superfecta (9-1-12-4) in EVD's race 5, with our top four.
EVD 6/13/09 $12,259 superfecta (4-8-3-14) in EVD's race 5, with our top four.
CD 5/29/09 Missed only the 5th race at Churchill Downs Friday, sweeping the rest of the card, and the 5-3-2-1 late pick4, paying $1482 for two. Top choice and first time starter Brassy Boy paid $28.20 to win the 7th.
HOL 5/21/09 5 of 6 top choice winners, and 1 second choice winner took the Hollywood Park pick6, paying $7087 for $2.  Late pick4 hit with big and small tickets, paid $1174 for $1.  Closed out the day with $21 winner, Forest Danz in the last.
LAD 5/15/09 Swept the opening day card at Louisiana Downs, starting off hot with the first race tri and super (5-3-6-8) totaling over $4400. Stayed hot all day, cashing every race. 10-02 (Ikester) looked like a live longshot, showing top pedigree (78), and a lone zero pace profile. Despite his 6th place listing on the sheet, I used him with the top picks, and was counting my money when he took the lead, drawing off with 100 yard to go, only to fall just before certain victory. In this case, we found the live longshot by reading a little further and finding the profiles, but took one on the chin here.
HOL 5/9/09 Stayed red-hot at Hollywood Saturday by sweeping the entire card. We hit both pick4's and every pick3 with our top or second selection, including $34.00 winner Ball Four in the 8th.
TP 4/4/09 Top choice winner On the Vinyard paid $63 to win in Tampa'a race 8, and the 10-9-6 tri paid $4497 for two.
TP 4/2/09 Lone speed profile highligted closing day at Turfway Park. Howdy Boy Rob (205) paid $41.20 to win, and the 5-3-2 trifecta paid $3746 for $2. The 1-5-7-7 pick4 ending in the 4th paid $13,368 for $2.
FG 3/27/09 Closing weekend at the Fair Grounds started off nicely on this wet Friday afternoon, as we cashed in races 4 thru 9. The 'Off Turf' numbers proved to be valuable in the 7th and 9th. We missed the pick4 by leaving out the 1 in the 6th race, but hit the 3-4-13 pick3 for $5, finishing with the 13 in the last. The pick3 paid $465 for $2.
OP 3/22/09 Some inquiries lately about the lack of entries on this page, and the assumption of few winners as of late. Actually, we've had many scores that have gone un-reported here, as I haven't had the time to track all of them. It seems my day job is interfering with my gambling habit! We've cashed big lately at FG, DED, TAM, AQU, and TP, among others, but not so lucky at Santa Anita. We all know that one good score makes up for a lot of sins in this game, and that was so true at Oaklawn Park today. The 9th race appeared to have NO closers, and the speed of the speed appeared to be the 4 horse, She's Our Annie. The 10th race looked to have several speed horses to soften up the 4 and 5, and the pace play looked like the 6, Pappa Grande, our lone-closer. Our $20 4-6 double got us $682, and closed out Sunday on a good note.
SA 2/26/09 Rebounded after a disappointing start in the Santa Anita pick6 by taking the 2-7-6-3 late pick4 for $3756 on $1.
FG 2/23/09 $800 late pick4 at the Fair Grounds seemed rather inflated for the 1-6-6-2 combination. I didn't complain though, as we hit it 5 times. Happy Mardi Gras!
FG 2/1/09 Made up for Saturday's losses by hitting the Fair Grounds' late pick4. The 8-4-3-7 ticket was worth $2021 for two, and made the Super Bowl much more enjoyable to watch.
FG 1/29/09 $1231 late pick4 at the Fair Grounds Thursday was started with our 2nd choice, Noble Bandit, paying $37.80 to win. The rest were top picks and the 3-7-2-1 combination returned $1231 for two.
SUN 1/20/09 Sunland Park's 10th race today gave us a perfect example of a lone zero (see Sample Profiles). The 1 horse, Catbow, figured to come running late, and did just that at 60-1. The 7-12-1-8 superfecta paid $4278 for a dollar.
SA 1/10/09 Hit Santa Anita's pick6 carry-over today with 5 top choice winners and 1 second choice. The 4-13-5-11-4-13 combination brought in $9844 for two bucks. We caught this one with big and small tickets.
FG 1/2/09 We swept every pick3 starting with the 4th race, and the late pick4 at the Fair Grounds Friday. Scratch 910 Wizard's Laugh, and top selections hit pick3's for $333, $382, $800, $1720, and $1708. The 3-7-7-4 pick4 got us $6362 for $2.
FG 12/31/08 After the 9 horse scratched in the Fair Grounds 10th race on New Year's Eve, the pace scenario became a lot more predictable. That made the 7 horse the lone closer in the race, and our key in the superfecta. We keyed the 7, Now That's a Wager, in the second and third spots, and hit the 4-10-7-3 super for $3491. The winning ticket looked like this: 4,8,10 with 4,8,10, with 7 with 3,4,5,6,8,10.
SA 12/26/08 After a shaky start in Santa Anita's opener, we swept the last 3 pick3's and the 12-12-3-5 late pick4 for $772.
TP 12/18/08 Made some Christmas money today, hitting both pick4's at Turfway Park. The 5-5-5-7 combo ending in the 4th paid $1617 for two, and the 4-6-6-4 ticket ending in the 8th race paid $2241 for a deuce. Kite Falcon, the 7 horse in the 4th, was our single in the early pick4, in a classic lone speed scenario. Kite Falcon paid $14.80 to win, and closed out the early pick4 in wire-to-wire fashion.
HOL 12/17/08 8-4-2-8 combination hit the pick4 at Hollywood Park, paying $1591 for $1. We caught that one with a reasonably small ticket, going 3 deep in the last two legs.
FG 12/5/08 Hit the late pick4 at the Fair Grounds Friday. The 10-6-3-2 combination got us $1881 for 50 cents.
DED 10/30/08 Hit the late pick4 again at Delta. The 9-6-2-7 winning ticket paid $2456 for $2. DED is quickly becoming my favorite night track to play.
DED 10/29/08 Second opening day pick4 hit at Delta Downs. Then 9-10-10-8 combo got us $1686 for two.
HOL 10/29/08 Hit opening day late pick4 at Hollywood. The 4-4-2-4 combo paid $1208 for $1. The price was triggered by our second choice in the 6th, Golden Nicks. This first time starter showed speed and pedigree, and paid a surprising $67.40 to win.
GG 10/19/08 10-4-9-3 late pick4 at Golden Gate hit with big and small tickets, paying $446 for a dollar. Singled One Royal Star in the 6th because of his best half mile speed (45.6), best class (37), best pedigree (7), and LONE KENTUCKY BRED. One Royal Star paid $9.80 to win, and may become the new poster child for MULTIPLE PROFILE selections.
RET 10/4/08 Top two picks in Retama's 7th race Saturday night hit this $358 exacta (11-3).
TP 10/1/08 Longshots light up the board often at Turfway lately, and Wednesday night was no exception. We went 4 deep in the last to hit the late pick4 (1-13-5-4) for $4325 on $2. Top 4 superfecta in the 9th got us right, and paid $3504 on $2.
SA 9/28/08 Got off to a fast start at Santa Anita on Sunday. Top choice in the first, Frankelstein, showed multiple profiles, and paid $14.00 to win. Second choice Lion Hearted completed the double, which paid $127. Another top choice and multiple profile selection, Tizzy's Tune, paid $43.60 to win the 4th race. We also cashed on winners Sunset Tijuana (6th), Hyperbaric (7th), and Street Hero (8th).
HOO 9/17/08 Thank you Racehorserunner!!! Your sheet for Hoosier Park for September 17, 2008 allowed me to identify live longshots in the late Pick Four. With an 11/1 and 15/1 shot in the second and third legs, I was able to take the entire pool of $3916 with a multiple .50 wager. Thanks again! What a profitable handicapping tool!
-Pat, New Orleans, La.
PRM 9/16/08 Swept all 6 thoroughbred races with top 2 picks at Prairie Meadows, hitting pick3's ending in races 3,5, and 6, for $182, $273, and $113. Also hit the pick4 ending in race 5 for $631.
AP 9/14/08 Cashed big pick3's at Arlington Sunday ending in races 5,6,7, and 8, paying $227, $1848, $1692, and $830.
EVD 8/23/08 $10,014 pick4 at Evangeline hit with reasonably small ticket. The 12-6-5-7 combination was our 2nd, 1st, 3rd, and 3rd selections.
SAR 8/23/08 Hit the Travers Stakes superfecta cold. Top choice Colonel John got the head bob, and the 2-9-11-8 combination returned $1785 for $2.
SAR 8/18/08 Caught both pick4's at Saratoga today, the 4-3-1-10 combo ending in the 5th paid $1236.
AP 8/9/08 Hit the trifecta COLD in the Arlington Million. Top choice Spirit One paid $29.40 to win, and the 3-1-7 tri returned $264.
CNL 8/6/08 $4827 super in the 4th at Colonial hit with a top 4 box (10-6-8-7).
WO 8/3/08 $47,082 superfecta for $1 in Woodbine's 8th race.  The 8-4-13-14 combination was found in our top 5 picks.
LAD 8/3/08 If one horse stood out today, it was 905 at Louisiana Downs - Sue Can Do.  This multiple profile selection was lone closer (+9) going 7 furlongs, and best pedigree in the race (28).  Sue Can Do paid $17.80 to win.
EVD 7/31/08 $2642 pick4 at Evangeline - the 5-9-5-5 combo hit with small ticket.
SAR 7/30/08 Saratoga's 3rd race superfecta hit COLD with our top four picks. The 3-10-8-2 combo returned $1179.
MTH 7/23/08 Hit both of Monmouth's pick4's and the pick5.  The 8-5-2-4 pick4 ending in the 5th paid $232 for $1, the 1-10-1-5 pick4 ending in the 9th paid $734 for $1, and the    4-1-10-1-5 pick5 in the last paid $2478 for fifty cents.  Only needed to go 3 deep in races 3 and 9.
EVD 6/18/08 $546 pick3 ending in Evangeline's 6th race (11-3-12), and our top number hit the late pick4 COLD.  The 2-2-8-9 combo paid $483.
AP 6/15/08 Top 3 trifecta and top 4 super hit Arlingtons's 6th race Sunday.  Then 3-10-8-11 combo returned $141 and $2770.
PEN 6/14/08 3 out of 4 hit the 12-12-6-8 pick4 at Penn National for $185, but our top numbers would have taken then pool.
EVD 6/4/08 Got out in Evangeline's 9th race by keying the 4 horse on the tri and super tickets.  The 3 scratched, making Prince Ante our top pick, paying $17.00 to win.  Preston's Sefapiano (#4) figured to come running late with her +11 pace figure in a race with nothing but speed.  We keyed her in 2nd and 3rd, and the 7-11-4-9 tri and super paid $916 and $6247.
LS 5/30/08 Although Suave Quest was our second choice in Lone Star's 4th race, the pace and his pedigree pointed to him as the winner.  His running line showed him as the best closer in a race full of speed, and his sire ranking (9) was best in that category.  He paid $16.40 to win, and the 2-1-4 trifecta returned $208.
BEL 5/24/08 Belmont's late pick4 was triggered by Monastic Springs, our 2nd choice in the 7th, paying $27.80 to win.  This first time starter showed the best turf pedigree (5) in the race.  The 3-6-8-2 combination returned $3293 for two.
HOL 5/21/08 We hit the 1-9-7-8 late pick4 at Hollywood, paying $2545 for a dollar, using top 2 choices in each leg.
FP 5/9/08 Four of eight top selections found the winners' circle at Fairmount Park.  Toast the Ghost paid $23.80 in the 3rd, Six One Eight paid $12.00 in the fourth, Veda Marie paid $41.80 in the 7th, and Army Blue paid $4.40 in the 8th.  The 4-3-1 trifecta in the 7th paid $673.
PEN 5/9/08 $45.60 winner in the 6th at Penn National, and the 4-5-12-10 super paid $3134.
PEN 5/8/08 We swept the card at Penn National, hitting numerous exactas and trifectas, and sweeping every pick3 and pick4 on the card.  Total pick3's: $3500, pick4's: $6100.
Big Brown Eight Belles

He looks like the most probable triple crown winner in several years.  He has answered every question about bad feet, bad post positions, and too few races.  He is getting better with every race, and should easily win the Preakness, if anyone out there decides to race against him.  Rest in peace, Eight Belles.  You beat 18 colts in the Kentucky Derby, and you've earned your place in history.
TUP 4/29/08 Lady Loushe gave me too many reasons not to pass the 6th at Turf Paradise.  She was the class of the field (22), she showed a 0 in the +/- among almost all negatives in the race, and had the top turf breeding in the race (29).  She returned $25.00 to win and the 2-8-5-1 super paid $365.
SA 4/20/08 The last pick4 of the Santa Anita meet was hit using our top selections.  The 11-5-5-6 combination paid $1612 for a dollar.  We missed it when Charlie refused to split this $81 ticket with me - (7,9,11)with(1,4,5)with(1,4,5)with(1,6,8).  He said to shorten the ticket a bit, so our $36 play missed when I tried to single the 10th.
SA 3/30/08 Top 4 box in Santa Anita's 9th race Sunday netted the 3-1-5-12 tri and super, paying $742 and $2199 for a dollar.  The payoffs were triggered by our longshot third choice, Curvey Star, who paid $28.60 to place.
GP 3/29/08 Caught the tri and super in the Florida Derby Saturday.  Had to use Big Brown in the top spot, in case he ran off with the race, which he did.  He answered his critics by overcoming a horrible post position, running blistering fractions, and having something left for the stretch.  Pyro will have to catch this one in Louisville.  Longshots Smooth Air and Tomcito ran 2nd and 3rd, and we used Hey Byrn in the 4th spot only.  12-2-4-9 tri and super paid $702 for two and $2911 for one.
HAW 3/14/08 Top 2 exacta in Hawthorne's last race Friday.  The first time starter 2 horse paid $74.60 to win, and the 2-6 exacta paid $451.  If you went deep enough to get to the 7 horse in the third hole, the tri and super paid $8145 for $2 and $5939 for $1.
TP 3/12/08 We nailed Turfway's 7th race superfecta COLD.  The 6-9-2-8 combo paid $3768.
HOU 3/8/08 Sam Houston's 2nd race looked too easy.  The 1, Bob's Program, appeared to be the class of the speed, and the 3rd choice 7 horse, Don's Bid, appeared to be the lone closer by far.  The 1 paid $5.60 to win and the  7 came running to pay $21.00 to place.  They ran 1-7-8-6 and the gimmicks paid $119, $444, and $3703.
SA 3/1/08 Heat Seeker, our top choice in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap, paid $16.00 to win.  Top choice in the 4th, Chancellor, paid $25.60 to win.
GP 3/1/08 Top 4 selections hit Gulfstream's 7th race tri and super for $3368 and $12,142.  Highly Honored, our second choice, paid $61.20 to win, and they ran 1-11-4-12.  This race also finished the 5-7-1 pick3, paying $1409 for $1.  Also caught the next two pick3's for $720 and $1494.
PEN 2/15/08 The 2nd race at Penn National Friday night got me out of my chair quick.  The 8 horse, Sunrisefordad, was lone-closer at 13-1, at a race track where front speed quits often.  I keyed him first and second with the 1-2-9-10, and hit the trifecta for $1588.
FG 2/9/08 $6786 trifecta and $21,039 superfecta in the last race at the Fair Grounds Saturday.  The 4-9-6-3 combination was hit with our top selection in a 4 horse key.
TUP 2/1/08 $10,263 superfecta for $1 in the 8th at Turf Paradise ran 1-7-9-4.
FG 1/31/08 The 10th at the Fair Grounds Thursday was our 'get out' race, with the top selection winning, and the 11-8-9-5 super for $24,428 could be hit with a 5 horse key.
TAM 1/31/08 If one race caught my eye on Thursday, it was the 5th at Tampa Bay Downs.  Our second choice paid $77.80 to win, the 8-10 exacta paid $195, the 8-10-1-3 tri and super paid $$1500 and $1900.  The top 4 finishers had the 4 best turf sire rankings in the race.
TUP 1/26/08 Swept the entire card at Turf Paradise Saturday.
TP 1/17/08 Thursday's Turfway sheet rolled out every pick3 and pick4, missing only the 7th race, won by our 4th selection.  This hot streak was capped off by nailing the last race tri and 9-8-5-10 super, paying $364 and $9936.
AQU 1/17/08 $4045 pick4 ending in Aqueduct's last race Thursday hit with our top picks.  The 1-9-1-4 combination was three second choices and a third choice longshot in the last.
HOU 1/13/08 Stayed red-hot at Sam Houston Sunday, hitting 9 of 10 races with top picks.
TP 1/13/08 Every race but one at Turfway Sunday was won by our top, second, or third choice.  9-10-2-4 pick4 ending in the 8th paid $1896.
HOU 1/12/08 Race 9 at Sam Houston Saturday night had a very attractive 'multiple profile' horse that jumped off the sheet at me, so I had to make a rare $100 win bet on her.  Our second choice, Joy of the Dance, showed the only late-running style with a +1, and was by far the best turf bred horse in the race with a 7 turf sire ranking (Rahy, 7th ranked broodmare sire).  I was hoping to get 3-1 on her, but was delighted to get a 7-1 overlay.  She came running on the rail as expected, but was blocked the entire stretch, getting loose in the final yards, and missing by half a head.  The 4-3-8-7 super paid $1030.  She was obviously the best horse in the race, but the best horse doesn't always win.  That one hurt.  I should make a special web page called Recent Disappointments.
SA 12/26/07 Opening day at Santa Anita was a good day for RHR users.  Seven of nine races were right on the money, second choice Johnny Eves paid $24 to win in the 7th, our streak ended by missing the 8th, won by Monterey Jazz, but we finished the card by nailing the last race 8-4 exacta box, paying $70 for two.
DED 12/21/07 Made a little Christmas money by hitting the pick4 at Delta Friday night.  The price was triggered by our third choice in the 7th.  The longshot 6 horse, Little Bitty Slew paid $28 to win, top choice won the 9th and 10th, and the 6-2-7-4 combination returned $1208.
TP 12/13/07 $16,417 superfecta (4-7-1-11) with top 4 box in Turfway's 3rd race Thursday.
GG 12/9/07 My Second Chance, the 9 horse in Golden Gate's 6th race Sunday, was the lone closer going 1 mile at a good price.  He checked on the second turn, and still drew off, paying $20.80 to win.  The 9-8-4-3 tri and super paid $306 and $789.
MNR 10/29/07 $49.80 winner in Mountaineer's second race completed the $69 double with the $2.40 winner in the first.  If you were daring enough to make a 5 horse key with Bonilla on top, the $18,436 trifecta was yours.
HAW 10/25/07 Cause She's Crafty, the 6 horse in Hawthorne's 5th, figured to run better than her predicted finish on the sheet.  Her sire, Giant's Causeway, was the 6th ranked turf sire to date, and nothing else in the race came close to her turf breeding.  She won at 17-1, and our top numbers ran right behind her at the wire.  The 6-7-3-5 super paid $4886 for a dollar.  Here was a spot where the sire rankings stood out, and pointed to the longshot winner.
RET 10/18/07 Enormous trifecta payoff in Retama's 4th race Thursday night.  Distressed Debt, the 4 horse, appeared to be a big speed-class overlay, and paid $12.40 to win.  The    4-13-3 trifecta could be hit with a $6 key, and paid $7094.
BEL 10/18/07
KEE 10/18/07
Hit late pick4's at Belmont and Keeneland Thursday.  Belmont's 6-2-4-2 combination paid $621, and Keeneland's 1-3-5-2 pick4 paid $1314.
HOO 10/10/07 Stayed red hot at Hoosier Downs as we cashed almost every race.  Hit numerous tri's and a couple of supers, as well as the late pick4 (6-6-1-6) for $2173.
HAW 10/10/07 Hit the last pick3 and late double at Hawthorne paying $311 and $472, triggered by Cielo's Time, our 3rd choice in the 8th, paying $74 to win.
TUP 10/9/07 Hit the 3-2-1-3 late pick4 at Turf Paradise, paying $1268, with a very small ticket.
BEL 10/8/07 Hit the late pick4 (1-4-8-9) for $2258, every pick3 starting in the 5th, and had the pick6 (9-6-1-4-8-9) within our top selections at Belmont Park.
SA 10/7/07 Rolled out every pick3 and pick4 until the last race at Santa Anita Sunday.
HAW 9/26/07

TP 9/26/07

HOO 9/26/07

6-2-3 tri in Hawthorne's 7th race paid $3457.  Top choice Proper Carson paid $21.20 to win.  Had many winners at Turfway, including the 9-8-11-2 pick4 ending in the 8th, paying $4383.  Would have had the pick6 alone with 4 top choices and 2 thirds.  And a big score in Hoosier Downs' 5th race Wednesday, as the top 4 selections hit the super.  The 2-4-3-9 exacta/tri/super paid $569, $4970, and $11,016.
LAD 9/14/07 Hit the late pick4 at Louisiana Downs Friday.  The 3-10-7-11 combo paid $2844.
BEL 9/8/07 Cashed every pick3, pick4, and had the pick6 within our top 3 choices at Belmont Saturday.  Pick4 ending in the 5th (7-1-6-5) paid $2389, pick3's totaled over $1400, and the pick6 (5-8-7-2-1-11) paid $9778.
SUF 9/4/07 Hit the last race trifecta COLD at Suffolk, paying $4329 for two.  After the 5 horse scratched, Cat Topper at 35-1, became the lone closer in the race, and came running to pay $27 to place.  They ran to the sheet: 7-8-12.
DMR 8/31/07 5 for 6 in Del Mar's pick6  (8-6-6-2-10-8) paid $534.  Got beat in the 2nd leg only and the pick6 paid $56,528.   Salvaged the day with the late pick4, paying $917, and caught the last trifecta when the LONE CLOSER (Wing Walker) came running for 2nd, and the tri paid $329.
CT 8/30/07 Caught this $3396 pick4 (9-3-10-2) finishing in the 7th at Charles Town Thursday night with a $12 play.
EVD 8/29/07 $1300 superfecta COLD at Evangeline in the 7th (6-14-12-7).  Also had the 3rd super (14-13-5-9) with a 4 horse box for $2264.
PRM 8/27/07 $1207 quarter horse pick4 (5-3-2-5) ending in Prairie Meadows' last race could be hit with a two dollar ticket.
SAR 8/26/07 Top choice winner Carnival City won Saratoga's 5th race Sunday, paying $35.80 to win, and completing the 11-1-6-2 pick4 for $986.
EVD 8/23/07 Tara the Hunter stalked her prey in the 5th race at EVD Thursday night, and won at 20-1, giving us a top two exacta box that paid $234.  She paid $41.80 to win, and triggered pick3's ending in races 5 and 6, paying $2352 and $1161.
SAR 8/22/07 Saratoga's late pick4 could be hit with a very small ticket.  The 1-5-3-4 combination returned $732 for $2.  Just missed the $5500 early pick4, missing only the 3rd leg.  Tejida, the 3 horse in the 3rd race found a very soft pace as the lone speed by our definition, beat the favorite, and paid $9.20 to win.
DMR 8/20/07 Hit Del Mar's pick4 Monday with big and small tickets.  Top choice Gula Gold paid $21.00 in the 5th, top choice Watch Over Me paid $5.40 to win in the 6th, second choice Old Man River paid $9.80 to win in the 7th, and top choice Queen Holly paid $10.60 to win the last.  The 7-2-3-10 pick4 paid $731 for a dollar.

8/15/07 The following petition was posted in a horse racing forum at PaceAdvantage.com.  I thought it was worth listing here.

Urgent Jockey Club Petition:

I'm going to remember this year's Derby, not as the year that Street Sense repeated his rail hugging Juvenile, but as the time in decades I'd not bet on the Derby. I'm going to remember it as the year that American racing began to fall apart.
The Jockey Club is having a meeting later this week and a member who prefers to remain anonymous has agreed to present a petition to them. If you'd like to use your real name but not post it on the board-pmail me and I'll write it in. If you want to use your screen name-have at it. If you know people from other boards that might be interested, please alert them.

Petition

We as players are offended and disgusted by the wrangling that TrackNet, TVG and other content providers have engaged in with regards to the simulcast signals. We believe that many executives in the business overlook the fact that without us, the racing industry would cease to exist.

The operation of a race track and the ability to conduct inter-track simulcasting of racing events is a privilege not a right. We request that the Jockey Club, the NTRA and all powers that be immediately intervene to mediate the disputes that are destroying this great game.

We demand that all licensed racetracks, simulcast facilities and ADWs
be accorded immediate access to all simulcast signals at rates that are fair and equitable to all, the tracks, the horseman, and the players. Let the customers decide who to reward with their business.

In the absence of responsible action, horse player boycotts are a certainty.

PEN 8/14/07 Would have been a good idea to play Penn National Tuesday night.  Top selections hit every pick3, the early pick4 (which paid 3 out of 4), and the late pick4.  Total pick3's paid over $3700.  Early pick4 pool was $4750, and late pick4 paid $3443.
CT 8/11/07 Top choice in Charles Town's 6th Saturday, I Can Win, showed she could do just that, and paid $56.40, $20.00, and $11.00.
CRC 8/11/07 Top 4 box (9-2-10-7) in Calder's last race Saturday netted a $3443 superfecta.
EVD 8/09/07 Evangeline's pick4 Thursday night was there for the taking, using our top selections.
Third choice in the 7th, Czech Dancer paid $21.80. Second choice in the 8th, House Arrest paid $8.20. Fourth choice in the 9th, Toolight's Evening was the LONE CLOSER and lightly raced in this N3L sprint, paying $11.40. Top choice Cat de Jour paid $15.40 in the last, and the 9-8-3-4 pick4 was hit with ONE ticket, paying $10,624.
LAD 8/03/07 Probably the most significant upgrade to this system, the sire rankings have proven to be most valuable, especially in turf races.  In the 9th at LAD on 8/3/07, the 4 horse (Cinnamon Strike) had the best turf breeding in the race, by far.  This 4 year old filly was sired by Smart Strike, the 9th ranked turf sire in the top 500 as of this race day in '07.  He ran like his daddy on this day, laid 3rd down the backstretch as predicted, and took off in the lane, paying $11.60 to win.
RP 8/03/07 $6765 super for a buck at Remington Friday night hit with a top 4 box with the help of the DQ'd 9 horse.  Lasting Freedom, our 2nd choice, had the best turf breeding with a 72, and paid $35.80 to win.  We followed that with a top choice lone closer in the 8th, Tres Dream, paying $10.60 to win.
DMR 7/26/07 Was disappointed in the last at Saratoga, where we got beat in the last leg of the pick4, which was paying over $5000, but made up for it by hitting the late pick4 at DMR twice.  Our top two selections in the 5th dead heated, giving us 7-1-4-4 and 13-1-4-4 pick4's, paying $1050 each for a dollar.
CNL 7/09/07  Pair of M/L 10-1 shots ran 1-2 at Colonial in the 5th race.  Top choice Royal Rascal paid $30 to win, and the 2-3 exacta was hit COLD for $187.
BEL 7/08/07  Street Bird, our top choice in Belmont's 3rd race Sunday, paid $47.20 to win, and highlighted a good day in NY, where every pick3 and pick4 were hittable with our top numbers.
BEL 7/06/07  Caught the late pick4 at Belmont Friday.  The 7-9-4-7 combination returned $2896.
AP 7/05/07  ELP7/05/07 Split bets today with Woshie (The Poppa Stoppa), and we cashed 10 out of 14 bets.  It started in the 6th at Arlington, where the 2 was DQ'd and placed 3rd, giving us the 6-5-2 trifecta for $633.  Also caught the 7-4-10 tri in Arlington's 9th for $839.  Keyed the 9 on top in Ellis Park's 9th race, the 5 ran 3rd at 99-1, and we hit the tri and super for $696 and $3427.  Woshie knows nothing about this game, and wants to keep it that way.  He loves the action though, and at the end of the day his only concern is win or lose, black or white, up or down.  Don't tell him we just got nosed out of a big score, or that we got a bad trip, or that we got left at the gate.  He just says to turn the page and move on.  Maybe more 'cappers should think that way.
CD 7/1/07 Rolled every pick3 and pick4 starting in the 2nd race at Churchill Downs Sunday.  Highlights were $16.00 top choice winner in the 6th (a speed-class pick), 15.40 top choice winner in the 7th, and 10-3-5-1 tri and super in the 10th with a top 4 box, paid $397 and $1433.  Pick3's ending in the 7th: $481, 8th: $1372, 9th: $769, 10th: $368.  Last pick4 hit using 4 horses in the last paid $3111.
IND  6/15/07 Classic lone closer in the 5th at Indiana Downs.  Moro Rapido, the 6 horse, paid $12.80 to win.

EVD 4/5/07 $15,441 superfecta hit almost COLD in the 5th race Thursday night at EVD.  The 10-4-5 tri and 10-4-5-7 super paid $323 and $15,441!!  Nobody hit the pick4, but our 4th choice, 4th choice, second choice, second choice ($64 play) would have had the pool.

MNR 4/1/07 Speed and the rail were DEAD Sunday night at Mountaineer on a muddy track, as the jocks were angling way out to the middle of the track in the stretch.  Kiss the Groom, the 7 horse in the last race, looked like the best closer, and the only other closer appeared to be the 10, Always Valiant.  Keying the 7 on top, and using the 10, we were able to pull one out late with this 7-1-10 tri and 7-1-10-5 super paying $802 and $4823.

HOU 03/25/07 Ended the weekend at Sam Houston with the last race tri and 9-6-8-2 super with a 4 horse box, paying $726 and $3242.
OP 03/25/07 Hot sheet at Oaklawn Park Sunday, including the 4th race exacta/trifecta/superfecta paying $71, $449, and $1313.  Also hit the late pick4 for $316.
MNR 03/25/07 Highlight of this profitable night at Mountaineer was the 2-10 exacta in the 2nd for $225, and the 2-10-6 trifecta paying $1031.
CT 03/25/07 We were hot all day at Charles Town Sunday, and nailed the 8th race 7-3 exacta COLD for $95, and had the 7-3-8 tri and 7-3-8-2 super for $483 and $2336.
FG 2/26/07 Rolled out every pick3, pick4, and the pick6 from the 3rd thru the 10th at the Fair Grounds Monday.  The 5-8-1-9 pick4 paid $1339 and the 6-8-5-8-1-9 pick6 paid $13,352.
FG 2/15/07 Caught the late pick4 at the Fair Grounds Thursday.  The 4-4-6-5 combination returned $663.
DED 2/15/07 Went three deep in the last 3 at Delta to hit the 1-8-2-7 pick4 for $1171.
FG 2/11/07 Six of ten top choice winners at the Fair Grounds Sunday, including the last 5 and the late pick4 COLD for $977.
DED 2/10/07 Lone closer Golden Gatorbait, the 3 horse in Delta's 3rd Saturday night, had no choice but to close on this field of La bred quitters.  Keyed her first and second with  the 2,5,7,8 and hit the 8-3-5 tri for $824. Golden Gatorbait paid $11.60 to place.
FG 2/4/07 Lone closer in Fair Grounds' 9th race Sunday figured to come running on the yielding turf in this sprint with much speed in this race.  Despite her 4th place selection on the sheet, I made Equestrian Girls my key horse in the pick4, and hit it for $594.  I put her first and second in tri's and supers, but got split by the 1 horse (7-5-1-9).  Equestrian Girls paid $18.80 to win.
NO 1/13/07 THE NEW ORLEANS SAINTS!!!
TP 12/22/06 Turfway's 8th race Friday had an obvious pace scenario with Play Fast, the 2 horse, being the inside speed in this route without much pace.  He only has to beat the 10 and the 11 to the lead, which he did, and had plenty left for the stretch.  Play Fast ran fast and paid $24.80 to win.  Hit the tri and 2-4-1-3 super for $1327 and $3562.
TP 12/17/06 Turfway's first race super for $224, 2nd race tri and super for $140 and $538, 3rd race tri and super for $183 and $868, 4th race tri and super for $222 and $1149, 5th race tri and super for $515 and $3170, 7th race tri and super for $2174 and $4989.
AQU 12/17/06 Top 2 exacta in the first at Aqueduct paid $120, cold exacta and tri key in the 4th paid $31 and $145, exacta/tri/super in the 5th paid $63, $334, and $1404.
FG 12/16/06 I made the fatal mistake of not recognizing lone speed in the 9th after the late scratch of the 5 horse Rathor.  That scratch puts Devilment, the 1 horse, on an uncontested lead.  Using the 1 gives me the pick4 for $6106 - ouch!
DED 12/16/06 Didn't take long to make a big score at Delta Saturday night.  We had the 1st race 3-4-10-7 superfecta dead to rights, paying $14,839.  Also hit the 5th tri and super for $319 and $790.
FG 12/9/06 Hit every pick3, pick4, and the pick6 at the Fair Grounds on Louisiana Champions Day with top or second choice, starting in the 5th race.  Carl's Frosty Girl, the 2 horse in the 9th race, looked like the likely closer in this speed-filled filly sprint.  Caught the exacta and tri, and this $27.20 winner made the pick4 jump to $793.
DED 12/2/06 I hit another pick4 at Delta Saturday night, but I thought I might have the only ticket.  I hope it was one of my subscribers that I had to share the pool with!  I started the ticket with top 3 choices in the 7th, singled our 4th choice in the 8th because the race was full of speed and I didn't want the deep closer 7 horse, and Zarb's Starlet's $$ figure, running line and +1 fit the race, used 2 and 6 in the 9th (I didn't like the big class drop on the 1 in this 20k N2L claiming race), and spread out using top 5 choices in the last.  If the 7 wins the stretch dual, I probably get the pool.  Oh well, I'll take the $1730 and re-load Sunday.  Watch this apprentice Talamo at the FG.  I saw him up close in the winners' circle Saturday (he's been there a lot lately).  He looks like he's 15 years old, doesn't shave yet I don't think, but he's feerless, likes to win, and he's making the old vets take notice.
DED 11/30/06 Top choice winner Gray Jag in Delta's 8th race paid $53.80 to win, and the 9-2-6-7 pick4 combination paid $12,135 for two bucks. After the #2 scratched in the last, the winning ticket could be hit with this $12 play: (1,9)with(2)with(2,6)with(3,7,8).
BM 11/25/06 Got over the disappointment of missing the pick4 at the Fair Grounds by hitting the 4th race super at Bay Meadows.  Keyed (6,9)with(6,9)with(3,4,5,7)with(3,4,5,7) for $24 and the 9-6-3-5 super returned $5185 for a buck.
FG 11/23/06 This entry was posted prior to posttime on this glorious Thanksgiving Day.  No matter how many winners we have today, the recent winner here is New Orleans and the Fair Grounds.  After suffering unprecedented water and wind damage in the hurricane, the historic Gentilly oval returns to host thoroughbred racing at it's best.  For decades, the FG has been part of the heart and soul of New Orleans, just as much as the Saints have been.  Our track is back, so a big chunk of New Orleans just came back as well.  I'm looking forward to a great meet, cashing many tickets, going on Sunday afternoons (and leaving work early on weekdays to catch the late double), eating oysters in the paddock bar, and chewing on a delicious corn beef sandwich. Thank you Churchill Downs, and Happy Thanksgiving!
HOL 11/19/06 $108,069 pick6 at Hollywood Sunday, and every pick3 and pick4 from races 4 through 9 were found in our top selections.  Winners in the pick6 were our 3rd, 2nd, 1st, 1st, 2nd, and 1st choice, or a minimum $12 play.
CRC 11/19/06 Hit pick3's at Calder Sunday ending in races 6,7,8, and 9 for $576, $1938, $4068, and $585.
HOO 11/16/06 Top 2 exacta in the 1st at Hoosier paid $428, with the second choice paying $73.20 to win.  Hit the 10-7-1 pick3 for $812 ending in the 3rd, and could have had the whole pick4 pool if we use 4 selections in the 4th.  Three out of four paid $558.  Also nailed the 4th race tri and super for $1926 and $6509, and the tri and super in the 8th for $130 and $778.
HOL 11/12/06 5 for 6 in Hollywood's pick6 Sunday found in our top 2 or 3 choices gets $3089.  It's worth a shot at the half million dollar carryover on Wednesday.
CD 11/12/06 9th race top 4 super box at Churchill Sunday hits for $3866.
DED 11/11/06 Hit the 7-3-6-10 pick4 at Delta Downs Saturday night for $6153 with a $12 play.
HOL 11/8/06 Hit the 6-8-9-12 superfecta COLD in the last race at Hollywood Park Wednesday that paid $1486 for $1.
CD 11/5/06 COLD exacta, tri, and super in Churchill Downs' 4th race Sunday.  They ran 6-11-4-9 and the prices were big - $140 / $1364 / $4101.
DED 11/2/06 $1703 pick4 ending in Delta's 10th Thursday night was hit with $18 investment.  The 5-9-5-10 combination was 1 top choice, 1 second choice, and 2 third choices.
CRC 10/30/06 Longshot lone closer in Calder's last race Monday - Alma Irene, the 4 horse, shows the only late run with a +4, so I keyed her in the 2nd and 3rd spots on tri and super tickets.  She came running, and just got up for 3rd, making our tri and 5-2-4-1 super good for $1210 and $6402.  I thought a 4-1, 16-1, 48-1, and 6-1 win odds would result in bigger payoffs in this 10 horse field.
BM 10/29/06 $40,937 pick4 for a buck ending in Bay Meadows' last race Sunday could be hit on our sheet with this $24 play:  (7,9)with(1)with(2,5,8,11)with(3,6,7).  No one hit the 8-10-7-1-5-7 pick6, with 4 out of 6 paying $234.  We would  have had the whole pick6 pool, with possibly 6 winners, definitely 5.
MNR 10/22/06 Finished off the weekend strong in the last race at Mountaineer Sunday.  Hit the exacta, tri, and super almost COLD.  Exacta/tri: $264 and $851, and the 6-8-5-3 super paid $5427 !!!
HOO 10/22/06 42-1 longshot in Hoosier's first race was our second choice, triggering the daily double, pick3, and 7-4-7-6 pick4 that netted $368, $1199, and $3935.
SA 10/22/06 Lone closer Booming Comps paid $16.00 to win in Santa Anita's last race, finishing the 5-9-3-6 pick4 that returned $381 for a buck.
SA 10/9/06 $1 pick5 at Santa Anita paid $5537 and was hit on our sheet almost COLD.  The 8-8-2-6-7 combination was 3 top picks and 2 second choices.  Just missed the pick6 that paid $36,821 but had the $342 consolation for 5/6.
LAD 10/7/06 Key our top horse in the 3rd at LAD Saturday and hit the tri and super.  The 2-7-4 tri paid $$2958 and the 2-7-4-ALL super paid $6557.  The 3, our 6th pick, ran 4th, and the whole superfecta pool was very hittable with these numbers.  Longshot second choice American Cade in the 4th paid $49.40 to win and the pick3 paid $1077.
LRL 10/4/06 Lone speed longshot Please the Crowd looked like something to eat on the sheet in Laurel's 9th race Wednesday.  At 20-1 in the M/L, he shows the only early foot in the race, and should last a long time on the lead.  He went wire to wire and paid $44.20 to win, they ran 5-3-7-4, and the exacta/tri/super paid $131, $525, and $1394.  Got beat a nose in the last for the pick3 that paid $13,636 for a buck - ouch!
PEN 10/3/06  Hit the 9-8-4-1 pick4 ending in Penn National's last race for $2612.
CRC 10/1/06 10 out of 12 top choice winners at Calder including the $32.20 winner in the 1st, the $376 pick4 COLD ending in the 4th, and every pick3 through the 10th race.
CT 9/30/06 Cashed this $3766 pick4 (7-4-1-9) at Charles Town ending in the 7th with $24 play.
BEL 9/30/06 Lit up the board with Belmont's pick4 ending in the 5th Saturday.  The 7-7-10-4 combination paid $11,131 and could be hit with a $6 play.  We had a big day in NY.
RET 9/29/06 Got out the trap at Retama Friday night in the last two races.  The 8 horse, A Bit Wild, was the lone KY bred and looked like speed/class pick, and Rascal looks like he's been running against better.  Made the 8-9 double for $40 because I was 'steaming' at the time.  It turned out to be the right move as the late double paid $68.60, and I had it 20 times.  Also used the other KY bred and lone closer, Sous Chef, in the last race tri and super, and hit for $149 and $710.  They ran 9-2-5-6.
RET 9/28/06 Retama's 5th race Thursday night had a lone longshot closer in the 10 horse, Seattle Girl.  His estimated quarter and half miles (23.5 and 47.0) made him the lone stalker/closer in the race.  His 3/4 time was pretty slow, but this bunch was only going 5.5 furlongs.  Our top choice ran out of the money, but the 2nd pick won, Seattle Girl came running for the place, and we hit the 9-10-4 tri for $1481, and the 9-10-4-5 super for $5113 !!!!!!
TDN 9/25/06 Big score in Thistle Downs' 8th race with our top numbers.  The exacta, tri, and the 3-9-1-4 super returned $403, $17,303, and $16,113 for a dollar.
BEL 9/23/06 Monstrous gimmick payoffs in the last race at Belmont Saturday.  We had the 10-3 exacta for $385, the 10-3-7 tri for $4643, and the 10-3-7-1 super for $51,510 !!!!!!!!!!
PEN 9/19/06 Mendham, the $30.20 top selection winner in Penn's 4th race highlighted the night in which we had every winner except the last race in our top or 2nd choice.  The 3-4-7-2 tri and super was hit almost COLD on the sheet, paying $768 and $2210.  We rolled every pick3 and pick4 until the last one, including the $1404 pick4 ending in the 6th.
WO 9/17/06 Top 4 box in Woodbine's 8th race Sunday hits the 7-8-4 tri for $1362 and the 7-8-4-3 super for $1870 for a buck.
HAW 9/17/06 9-7-4-1 pick4 finishing in Hawthorne's last race paid a whopping $9504, and could be had with our top 2 or 3 selections in each leg.
MNR 9/15/06 We made a fortune at Mountaineer Friday night.  We hit every trifecta except the 5th race, and both pick3's.  The 4-3-6 tri in the 1st paid $564, the 10-5-7 tri in the 2nd paid $510, 5-3-2 in the 3rd paid $49, 5-6-2 in the 4th paid $124, 10-3-6 in the 6th paid $296, 6-2-3 in the 7th paid $551, 3-8-5 in the 8th paid $356, 5-7-2 in the 9th paid $114, and 8-1-2 in the last paid $405.  Pick3's paid $246 and $464.
TP 9/15/06 Hit two pick4's at Turfway Friday night, the last one paid $1313 (12-8-3-7).
HAW 9/15/06 Caught the 7-6-4-2 pick4 at Hawthorne ending in the 5th, paying $1881.
HOO 9/14/06 Some nice scores at Hoosier Thursday night including the 4th race 7-2-4-5 super for $2135, the 8-5-4-2 super in the 5th for $469, the 6-9-10-1 super in the 7th for $2929, and the 5-8-9-1 super in the 9th almost COLD for $5310.
FPX 9/11/06 Had 5 of 6 top choice winners in the pick6 at Fairplex that paid $9876.   The only race we missed was the 7th, our 4th choice, paying $21 to win.
WO 9/10/06 Second choice in Woodbine's 6th, a first time starter in a grade 3 at a mile on the turf, paid $98.60 to win.  The 14-13-1 trifecta paid $21,714.40 and was very reachable with our top 6 choices in a 14 horse field.
TP 9/08/06 Caught the late pick4 (7-8-2-1) at Turfway Park for $1411.   Royalewithcheese, the 1A, saved me in the 10th because I was counting on his entry-mate.  They still pay you though.
MTH 9/06/06 Hit the early 2-4 double at Monmouth COLD for $131, starting off a succession of winners in which our top choice won 8 of 9 races.
HOO 9/03/06 We're having success early in the Hoosier Park meet.  Top Radio Star, our top choice in the 7th at 20-1 in the M/L, paid $26.80 to win, and we hit the 4-1-7 tri and the     4-1-7-6 super for $1769 and $19,850.
EVD 8/30/06 Hit the 13-2-4 tri and 13-2-4-9 super COLD in the 3rd at Evangeline Wednesday night for $867 and $7280.
DMR 8/26/06 10-4 exacta in Del Mar's 5th was found in our top 4 selections, and paid $781 for $1.  Potential, the 10 horse, paid $72.20 to win and was the only selection on Saturday's card that we had to go 4 deep in the pick3's and pick4's.
GG 8/25/06 Started off the Golden Gate meet by nailing the $146 double and the 3-2-1-3 pick4 on the first four races, paying $797 for a buck.
FL 08/22/06 Caught both pick4's at Finger Lakes - the 4-5-1-7 combination finishing in the 5th paid $449, and the 4-3-6-7 finishing in the last paid $331.
RET 8/19/06 Staying hot at Retama Park, as we closed the night Saturday with the late pick4 for $537.  Also hit the 3-4-1 tri in the 2nd for $418, the 3-4-8-1 tri and super in the 3rd for $152 and $1150, the 9-4-1 tri in the 5th for $149, the 9-5-6-3 tri and super in the 6th for $164 and $455, $18.80 winner Windy Lou in the 7th and the 2-1-6-3 tri and super for $295 and $419.
MNR 8/13/06 $82.80 winner Tonz of Love, our 3rd choice in Mountaineer's 6th Sunday, started the 2-2-9 pick3 that returned a healthy $1857.
CNL 8/12/06 Back to back scores at Colonial on Saturday - 7th race 2-1-7-4 tri and super in our top 4 paid $439 and $1476, and the 8th race 6-5-11 tri paid $1591.
LAD 8/12/06 4-1-5-3 pick4 ending in LAD's 6th race Saturday returned $1640.  Caught this one with this $4 play: (4)with(1)with(5,9)with(3,6).
RET 8/11/06 I was very impressed with the pick3 payouts at Retama Park on Friday night for opening day there. Race 8 caught my eye as Bridal Gal, the 6 horse, was the lone Kentucky bred in a race of Texas bred fillies, and she was the lone closer in the race. I figured her to run better than our 4th place prediction, so I keyed her in all my gimmicks. She came running as expected, and paid $19.80 to win. Just missed late pick4. Looking forward to a great meet there.
SAR 8/07/06 Swept every pick3, pick4, and the pick6 at Saratoga using top or 2nd choice.  Pick3's paid $242, $224, $242, $184, and $119.  Pick4's paid $2091 and $259.  Pick6 paid $17,918 and was hit with 3 top choices and 3 second choices.
EVD 8/06/06 Early double at Evangeline Saturday night had an noticeable lack of early speed.  Little Tin Whistle in the first race was the most obvious lone speed I've ever seen on these sheets.  I had to make a $100 win bet on him, even at 4-5, something I rarely do.  He made a very easy lead, and held on for the win.  The second race had two speed horses, the 3 and 4.  Pollock's Praise looked like cheap speed, but Fiery Dreamer didn't break, leaving the 4 on an easy lead.  Even cheap speed is good speed when it's not contested.  Missed a nice exacta and tri in the 2nd when the jock on the 3 misjudged the finish line, and stopped riding with plenty race left.
AP 8/06/06 Late pick4 at Arlington Saturday was hit with our top selection in each leg.  The 4-3-1-4 combination paid $421 for a dollar.
EVD 8/03/06 Evangeline's 6th race Thursday night saw our top choice favorite run out of the money, and our next 4 selections comprise the 11-5-10-2 superfecta, which paid $12,847 for $2.
DMR 7/28/06 $5022 super in Del Mar's 3rd Friday found in our top 5 picks, and hitting the last race is becoming a habit lately as we had the 8th race tri and super for $446 and $2144.
EVD 7/28/06 Top 4 super in the last at EVD paid $4742, capping of a decent night there.  The best race to hit is always the last.
EVD 7/27/06 Up and down night at Evangeline had some nice pick3's, COLD 7-10 exacta in the 5th for $200, and the last race tri and    super almost COLD for $259 and $1276.
DMR 7/24/06  This would qualify as a recent disappointment, rather than a recent winner.  Made a small pick4 and a token $2 pick6 ticket at Del Mar Monday.  The pick4:  (11)with(1,4)with(1,5,6)with(2,6,7,10).  The pick6: 3-3-11-1-1-10.  I took a shot with the 4 in the 6th race because of the stud fee angle, but not on the pick6 ticket.  Ended up with 4 chances to hit the pick4, which was won by Guitar Man, a horse whose only race was at 4 1/2 furlongs.  Missed the pick4 and had 4/6 on the pick6 ticket, which paid $591.80 for 5/6.  Didn't sleep well last night.
BEL 7/19/06 Belmont's late pick4 Wednesday could be hit with this $12 play: (5,12)with(3)with(1,6)with(5,8,9).  The 5-3-6-9 combination returned $711.
CT 7/19/06 $3843 pick4 (5-3-3-4) at Charles Town Wednesday night was almost nutted on the sheet.  Top choice winner in the 4th paid $21.80, top choice winner in the 5th paid $7.00, second choice in the 6th paid $5.20, and top choice in the 7th paid $13.20
DEL 7/15/06 Two big hits on July 15th,  CBY 7th Race and DEL 10th Race.  Two big exactas and tris with very little investment.  What really hurt in the DEL race.  Keying the top horse with the next four would have hit a $6661 super. A $20 investment. In addition, using your sheets and your sheets only, I ended up #34 in the BRISBET contest on July 15th.  In so doing, I will be entered in the finals on August 5th with a chance for the big contest in Las Vegas or some very nice prizes.

LS 7/16/07 Lone Star's 7th race Sunday had an obvious pace scenario.  Our top choice favorite won as expected, but she had to run down the lone speed #1 horse, Shareshten.  The 1 was rated as our 5th best horse in the race, but had to be respected as the only gas.  We had all the gimmicks in this one, with the 5-1-4-2 super paying $613.
MTH 7/16/06 Had the late pick4 at Monmouth Sunday almost COLD paying $1079 for $1, including top choice winner Cigno d'Oro in the 8th paid $42.40 to win, and the 8-2 exacta COLD for $234.
EVD 7/07/06 Our third choice in Evangeline's 8th race Friday night made the pick4 jump to $1782.  Tangie D paid $35.20 to win, and the other legs were won by our top or second choice.  Top numbers won all night at EVD and Lone Star.
PEN 7/06/06 Penn National's 4th race Thursday night illustrates what this system is all about.  Our top selection, Put Out the Fuse, fit the description of speed-class, and our 4th choice, De Magic Moment, was the obvious lone closer in the race.  Despite a layoff since August '05, and his most recent races have been routes, De Magic Moment has been working well and his running style makes him a 'must use' on the trifecta and superfecta ticket.  Put Out the Fuse paid $8.80 to win, and De Magic Moment came running for second.  The 4-3 exacta paid $77.20, the 4-3-8 tri paid $253.
LS 6/29/06 Pick3's and pick4's are the way to go lately.  We hit all of them again using the top numbers, this time at Lone Star Thursday night.  Pick3's: $174, $122, $581, $361, $120, $91, and $113.  Pick4's: $592 and $200 for $1
