Here are the steps to finding out what Dual Angle Layout you have on a drilled bowling ball. You can then use these numbers in the Analyze a Dual Angle Layout function of The Paddock App.
Locate your PAP on the drilled ball. Draw a line from the Pin through the CG marking if its a Symmetrical Core Ball.
Draw a line from the Pin through the MB locater pin if its an Asymmetrical Core Ball.
Draw a line from the Pin to your PAP.
Measure the angle created by the Pin through CG/MB line and the Pin to PAP line. Here its 60 degrees. Measure the Pin to PAP distance. Here its 5". Measure the angle created by the Pin to PAP line and the Vertical Axis Line. Here its 30 degrees.
The Dual Angle Layout is 60 x 5 x 30 in this example. Always remember that proper Dual Angle notation is Drilling Angle (DA) x Pin to Pap Distance x Vertical Axis Line Angle (VALA).
