WHEN IS A CHILD OLD ENOUGH TO CARRY THE
EPIPEN or Auvi-Q ON THEM AT ALL TIMES?

Doctors and most parent used to believe that kids
are not ready to start carrying their epineprhine auto
injectors until they enter middle school.

Thanks to Canadians, now we know that once a child
is old enough to attend school, they are more than
capable to carry their own medications.

After schools in Canada made it a rule, that any
student with known anaphylaxis allergies would be
sent back home if they were not carrying their
Epipen's on them, everyone realized that even at
age three a child is capable of self carrying life
saving epinephrine auto injectors.

So at what age is your child ready?
If he or she is ready to go to a regular school, then
he is ready to carry the Epipens.

What every parent of a teen wished they knew
before:
The earlier you teach your child that carrying an
Epipen is not a choice but just something they need
to do, the easier will be for them and for all to
ensure they have inmediate access to their life
saving medications as they grow older.

The best carrier is the one they will use.

Absolutely, just like they need a pair of shoes for
sports, and another one to go out, and another one
for school, they will need a carrier for every life
activity.
